We had the pleasure of dining at Ashten’s last night for our anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience. We ordered the Crispy Maple Leaf Farms Duck and the 12-ounce Brasstown Beef NY Strip, and both dishes were nothing short of perfection. The duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a rich, flavorful sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The NY Strip was cooked exactly to our liking — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Our waiter elevated the experience even further with his thoughtful recommendations, genuine enthusiasm, and impeccable attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service exceed expectations, but Ashten’s delivered on every level. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or even just a night out. We will definitely be returning for more!

This is a fabulous restaurant for a romantic date, a special occasion or just a special night. The service is fantastic and the food is always special. This would also be great for an anniversary party...lovely grounds and sitting outside when it is warmer is something special.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was amazing and created a wonderful dining experience, bringing Manhattan-style dining to Southern Pines. Delectable meal choices did not disappoint. My family of six stayed overnight at JH Adams Inn, and dined at Christina Grays, in celebration of my daughter’s graduation from college. The atmosphere was sublime, the attendance by staff, outstanding, and the food enjoyed by all. I can only hope for more life events to celebrate at Adams Inn and Cristina Grays.
