Best European Restaurants in Rice Village

Our server was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Our server was very respectful of our lunch as it had been a long time since I saw my friend. Our server answered all our questions and provided a fantastic recommendation for my gluten free dinner. It is extremely rare to find a restaurant with a dedicated gluten free fryer and they have one here! I will be back as many times as I can to work my way through the menu. I can’t believe how comfortable the space was; not to mention it is across from the Menil Collection. Truly a peaceful setting for some truly delicious gluten free food right in Houston - something that is hard to do in Houston.

Really loved the different approach to Houston Fine Food. We’re not fans of all the rich sauces that Houston tends to thrive on and smother the key ingredients with - TMC focuses more on accentuating the core flavors, which we really liked, a lot!

A unique experience in Houston full of elegance and refinement. The service is outstanding and the ambiance very cosy. There is a lot of creativity in the plates and everything is delightful and very well presented. The story around the different courses is very interesting and the whole experience is real journey. We highly recommend this address.

We had a delightful lunch as our first visit to Etoile. A shrimp and scallop appetizer was delicious, and escargot were enjoyed by my spouse. He was not wowed by the onion soup, but happily consumed it. I was very pleased with my filet of sole with snow peas, capers, etc. We were too full for dessert, but each enjoyed a cappuccino with very frothy milk. The elegance of the food and service were, however, at odds with the tv at the bar facing the dining room. People have cell phones now, so should be able to distract themselves without the presence of a tv. Thanks for a lovely lunch!
