- DDeeSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat a great dining experience!!! Elia hit it out of the park in all 3 major areas: food, service, & atmosphere. It was our first time dining at Elia, and it did not disappoint. We ordered 2 appetizers (eggplant humus w/pita) and the calamari. Both were outstanding!!! For dinner we had the seafood paella, and the beet salad. We shared both, and we were plenty full. Presentation of the food was impressive, everything looked and tasted delicious. For dessert we both had Greek coffee, as well as baklava and the poached pear. Wow, simply superb!!! Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Lots of food runners, who all were smiling and nice. It’s good a bit of a noise level, but I think it adds to the experience, and we could always hear ourselves talking. What a great time, can’t wait for the next timeMore infoElia - Walnut CreekPrice: Expensive• Greek• Walnut Creek•4.7
- LLindaSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoI had lunch there today with a friend from San Francisco. He had the burger, I ordered the chicken sandwich. We both agreed our sandwiches were good but tasted quite ordinary. The brioche buns quickly crumbled and got mushy, making for a messy experience. The olive tapenade that came with the bread basket was excellent- a nice condiment. John, our waiter, was very attentive and helpful. I was surprised to see the rest was only about 1/3 full by the time we left at @ 1 pm. Linda from Portola ValleyMore infoPortola BistroPrice: Moderate• European• Portola Valley•4.3
- AAnthonyGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOne of the nicest Greek meals I’ve had in the US. The best SAGANAKI ever, it’s properly grilled and nicely browned. The moussaka was also delicious. My only quibble was the parsley in the Greek salad as it sort of took over flavor wise. I’ll have them leave that off next time as otherwise the salad was top notch. Too bad I don’t live closer so I could be a regular.More infoElia PleasantonPrice: Expensive• Greek• Pleasanton•4.7

Our dinner was a business meeting and it got very difficult to even hear what was being said. In addition, we were seated up against a wall in a corner.More infoBridges RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Danville•4.1
