- AAleksandraWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is a great restaurant with an authentic taste of Germany with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming European-style ambiance that makes us feel welcome. The menu offers a good selection of traditional German dishes, from hearty bratwurst and schnitzel to delicious potato pancakes and freshly baked pretzels. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality. We tried the sauerkraut balle and the stroganoff were fantastic! Also, the selection of German beers and specialty drinks added to the experience, making it a great spot for dining. The service was friendly and attentive and ensured a great dining experience. Overall, Café Berlin brings the heart of Germany to DC. Whether you’re a fan of German cuisine or simply looking for a cozy spot with great food and atmosphere, this café is a must-visit.More infoCafe BerlinPrice: Moderate• German• Capitol Hill•4.7

The service was wonderful, thoughtful and professional - the greeting upon entering the restaurant was welcoming, the atmosphere charming and relaxed, not rushed or pushy. The food was superb - Amazing pasta and the fish was perfect. The deserts even tempted us! Thank you to the entire team! We highly recommend a visit to San Lorenzo!More infoSan LorenzoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Shaw•4.6
- WWigberWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoIt’s not very often that you get to participate in the beginning stages of a nice restaurant. The ambiance and decor I thought was nice and intimate. The service team was pleasant, made us feel special but still seemed like they were getting used to things which was very understandable. The cocktails were impressive and we were enjoyed the use of Aquafaba in their Tightrope vs using egg whites. I had the smoked Old Fashioned and enjoyed the little bit of smoke in the presentation. The wine list by the bottle was short but handpicked for quality at various price points. We had a French Rose with our dishes. The shared plates to me were similar to a Tapas style and were flavorful. Our entrees were the star of the show with their Chilean Seabass and Short Ribs. Chocolate Mousse, flan and a Four Roses Neat rounded out our experience for a wonderful time.More infoSeven RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Reston•4.6

- MMikaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our second vsiit and we had another great dining experience, the service and food was great! We ordered the focaccia, burrata, baked shrimp, and short rib and loved each dish. The drinks were great as well. We visited the day before Valentine's Day and they had this strawberry pistachio dessert that was so good. I am not a dessert person so that says a lot. Overall, would highly recommend. Great restaurant, speakeasy vibes, very loungey and dim atmosphere. We will be back again!More infoHeirloom - RestonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Reston•4.7
