The ambiance was beautiful, and the food was outstanding. Logan provided exceptional service, making our visit even more special. - AAgnesGlasgow/Lanarkshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMeeting with friends before Christmas we wanted to find a venue which wasn’t offering a “festive menu”. The Bistrot retained its usual menu and offer of 2 or 3 courses at a very reasonable cost, especially in such close proximity to Christmas. We were also delighted to be seated in a quieter part of the restaurant (being a group of 5) which allowed us to chat and hear one another (again not always easy to find at this time of year). There was a very good choice of dishes available from the menu; service was efficient but we were not rushed, and we would certainly return again and recommend to others.More infoLe BistrotPrice: Moderate• French• Edinburgh•4.6
- FFionaEdinburgh/Midlothian •2 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe had visited the Brasserie several times over the summer and been very impressed, so we were looking forward to this visit. As always, the staff were superb - friendly, welcoming, fun and extremely efficient. Unfortunately, the menu had changed significantly and, whilst we enjoyed what we had, the choice of dishes had been notably reduced, the prices increased and the portion size seemed to have diminished. I have a food allergy and my choice of dishes was much more restricted than before. All in all, whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and cannot praise the staff more highly, we have decided that we probably won't return as we simply were not impressed with the menu.More infoLiberté Café-Bar & BrasseriePrice: Expensive• European• The Royal Mile•4
