- RrichardOxford/Oxfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPerfect destination - met friends for a Christmas get together. Started with a few drinks at the bar before seating at our table in the original pub area by a lovely open fire. Very congenial service. We weren't the easiest group to deal with but the person who took our order handled us with utter professionalism and good humour. It made for a memorable afternoon . We will be back. ps slow roast leg of lamb for two is sensational. A must for any meat eater.More infoThe Royal Oak - YattendonPrice: Expensive• English• Yattendon•4.6

- DDeanaLondon •22 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoThe food was faultless but the service was awful We had to mask for more drinks The bread wasn’t cleared away before we got our starters. We only got 3 or the 4 starters and it was quite a while before the last one came with no apology. The. our main came and they hadn’t cleared the starters and my friend still had her start plate in front of her whilst she was eating her dinner. They came to clear our mains but never asked if we enjoyed it at all through the whole meal All the food was delicious but the service was awful and we didn’t pay the service charge. The staff seemed very disinterested in us and not at all attentive towards us having an enjoyable experience A shame but probably won’t come againMore infoThe Spring InnPrice: Moderate• English• Burghfield•3.9
