This place never disappoints. On this visit we had the mackerel/red cabbage/horseradish and the cod’s roe to start followed by venison/braised red cabbage and wild boar mains with a side of pigs skin/chips /cabbage with rice pudding/poached pear to finish. Everything was spectacular, but the venison and red cabbage for me was the standout. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive 5* all day long

Service was great and nice restaurant but the revolving door made the whole place feel very cold. Every time someone walked in it brought a chill and made the experience a bit uncomfortable.

Tasty food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We went for a Sunday roast with my family and sat at the upper floor which was more quiet. The service was great and the food and wine was very nice.

We travelled nearly an hour for Sunday lunch and it was well worth the journey. Food was incredible, the best Sunday roast we’ve had in ages. You will not be disappointed. Portions were generous and service was spot on. We shared the pain au chocolate bread and butter pudding which was heaven on a plate. We will definitely be returning!
