Stumbled in for a last minute resy and were pleasantly surprised to see jazz brunch. Sat by the musicians but still able to converse and it added so much to the atmosphere. We loved everything about it. Also the bread basket was diverse and delicious. We ate through two of them. Next time hoping we can stay for the beignets and espresso martinis. Also need to grab a spot at that beautiful ornate bar.

It was only the second night being open. So, the service was a little slow but well worth the wait. The food was amazing!!! I will definitely be returning.

We went for Valentine’s Day dinner. While I’d not call the restaurant romantic; I’d say it’s one of the best values in Bmore. The food from our appetizers of Bacon wrapped Scallops and Shrimp and Grits to our mains (Jambalaya and a Hot Stack Cstfish) were both amazing. Large portions with lots of Andouille Sausage and Seafood in the Jambalaya. The portions were enough for three meals. We added the Cornbread and it was worth it. Desserts we delish. The had their take on bread pudding and their chocolate silk pie. Both were worth it. All that plus a drink each and the bill was less than $165 before tip.

Pearl Dive Oyster Palace is a great seafood spot in DC! They had a selection of 6 different oysters to choose from and had an extensive menu of other seafood options. I do think the price of the oysters were somewhat expensive ($3.40 per oyster), but would be a good option for a happy hour after work sitting at the bar. Overall, I loved the ambience, food, and service. Great drinks, too!! I got the espresso martini and it was lovely.
