If you are looking for some of the best cajun and creole cuisine in the area, look no further than RT's. They've been around for ages and I was introduced to RT's by a friend. I think of it as a hidden gem and this was my second time dining here. Today I ordered the Jack Daniel's shrimp and crabmeat appetizer and a salad which was a perfect lunch. Previously I ordered the shrimp and crabmeat etouffe and was equally pleased. Portions are well-prepared and generous. Service was attentive and we weren't rushed at all. I'll definitely return and look forward to trying some new dishes.

The manager stopping by after each course to ensure we were happy was a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience even further. If you’re visiting DC, I can’t recommend Dauphine’s enough.
