- BBradleyHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat experience in a modernized sushi bar. The creations were excellent. The service matched the quality of the food as well. It had a young hip vibe which is not typical for a sushi bar, but it was an entertaining experience. We'll definitely be back.More infoOmakase By AungPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Kaimuki•4.9
- JJeffvipLas Vegas •46 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024I went here thinking I was going for a sushi bar, but I ended up with an Omakase experience. The fish was extremely fresh, I found out Thursday as “fresh fish Thursday“ when they get all of their shipments in, but when I came into this place I thought it was going to be busy because of the reviews, but I was the third person there. The sushi chef was one year in the US coming from Japan, so knew very little English, but I just rolled with it. Turned out. I had a wonderful experience with some delicious sushi. I’ve had Uni in the past and I thought it tasted like the bottom of the ocean, but the Uni they had here was straight from Japan and it was very sweet … and I can now understand why they consider it a delicacy. Had a couple glasses of sake, along with the Omakase experience. All in it was about $160 … but it was unbelievably delicious. I would highly recommend this place.More infoi-naba Hanalei'i Honolulu Sushi and GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Mccully-Moiliili•4.8
- BBeckyHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Special bargain menu of local favorites for Honolulu Restaurant Week caused us to find this place and we weren’t disappointed. Poke sampler was really yummy. Loved the fried rice with Kalua pork. Banana spring roll sweet treat. Much aloha from servers. Out of IPA;). We’ll tell others.More infoRedfish WaikikiPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian• Waikiki•4.5
- JJazminevipHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024Visited during restaurant week Nov 2024 and got the $50 pre-fixe omakase menu with some additional skewers. The omakase menu is normally $80 so it was such a great value (the restaurant week menu had slightly less items). We sat at the counter and it was great to be able to see the chefs at work! Loved the smoky smell in the air and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Favorites of the night were the sukiyaki skewers, beef tongue skewers and the salmon, ikura, uni don. This was our third or fourth time back to this restaurant, but it had been about 3-4 years since our last visit. We had a great date night and will definitely be back!More infoYakitori Hachibei - Chinatown HawaiiPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Honolulu•4.8
- WWendyLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 31, 2024We had an amazing time there. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful and definitely a hidden gem. There are no markers in the building. Other than that, food and service were awesome. I can’t wait to go again!More infoIzakaya 855 AlohaPrice: Expensive• Creative Japanese• Waikiki•4.5
