Best Continental Restaurants in Montclair

Such a great restaurant. My entire party loved their dishes. Specifically the beef stroganoff and the country style lamb. The drinks are incredible, try some of their infused vodkas. They have a friendly staff, specifically Moon. Moon is an attentive and friendly server who always makes us feel home when we dine there and has us all laughing throughout the night.

Sardi’s is a must stop on any of our NY trip from DC. The food, service and Broadway atmosphere is always perfect. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu selections. A reminder, around theatre time, make it a point to book a reservation. It is a staple of many theatre goers due to a perfect location. Besides the foods, our bar selection was great. Last night I asked if Sardi’s offered an Irish coffee, one of my absolute favorites. Our server, Wilson, said they offered one of the best. It indeed was, served with a pot of coffee, ample whiskey and saucer of fresh whipped cream. It was concocted at table side and has become the benchmark for future orders. Wilson was a pleasure. He said he was relatively new to Sardi’s but I hope that he is still there on our next trip. He was a personable and perfect server.

This is a lovely and beautiful restaurant that we frequent. The staff is kind and efficient. The food is divine! It is such a beautiful touch that they show you what everything looks like on the iPad. The atmosphere is refined and comfortable while the decor is beautiful, reminiscent of The Great Gatsby. The owner, Robert, is present, personable, and hands-on. 

Really cute place and very quaint decor. Service was outstanding. Great cappuccino. Had the omelet with smoked salmon, which was also very good. My niece had a burger that looked amazing

Food was very delicious and service is A1. Always a pleasure to dine here.
