Best Continental Restaurants in Desert Hot Springs

We’re visiting from Philadelphia and this is what we ordered : Tomato bisque, crab/corn chowder, baked boucheron, filet mignon, duck, carrot cake and lime pie. The entire meal was absolutely stunning and beyond delicious. Jose took fantastic care of us, thank you sir! You all did an amazing job 👌🏼

We had a lovely evening on the patio. It was a cold night and I was worried we wouldn’t be warm enough. We were warm. Our server Alex had great suggestions and was very attentive. The entire staff is pleasant. The food is amazing. I had the lamb chops and my wife had the barramundi both were great. So was their signature Cesar salad and the pineapple upside down cake. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Been going to the Nest since the 60’s , so i have seen a lot of Changes. Nest know for their great music but do not pass up a chance for a great meal at a great price . Dodi and Kevin do a great job so come in and enjoy a great meal and stay for the music .

Prix-fix lunch is almost always perfect, & we dine here for lunch at least once a week. Food is reliably fresh & tasty, & the $31 set price includes soup or salad, dessert, coffee/tea, & bread. Service always comes with a friendly smile & is professional especially Lilliam, Michelle, & Alex. Highly recommended. Sit outdoors in the tree room; it's smart to reserve for lunch.

We came all the way in from Rancho Mirage ... sort of a standing joke because as we get older a 20 minutes car ride is excessive lol. The restaurant was very nice inside. the decor was urban chic and when you walked in they have a small 4 seat bar and a large room off to the right side. they also have a nice patio for outdoor dinning. The place was busy and we say right away. cocktails we had the blood orange cocktail and a German beer. Food wise we had the meatballs and the escargot both excellent. entrees we all had Schnitzel which was the best Ive had. Our server was friendly and responsive with our drinks and food. This is definitely a place to try!
