- KKimToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom the moment we stepped into DaNico, we were struck by how beautiful the space was. The high ceilings, artwork, and dark colour tones created a dramatic and refined atmosphere. It felt like the perfect setting for a special evening. The attention to detail extended to the glassware and plateware, which were both elegant and intriguing, adding an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The service was impeccable. From the moment we entered, the staff were warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. When confirming our reservation, we mentioned a dietary restriction, and to our delight, our server was already aware of it when greeting us. They thoughtfully provided tailored suggestions, which made us feel genuinely cared for. As for the food, every dish showcased incredible depth of flavour and texture. The creativity in the menu was evident and much appreciated, making each bite a delight to savour. The cocktail menu had a great mix of creative drinks, and I loved that there were some really interesting non-alcoholic options too. As someone who is dairy-free, dessert is often an afterthought at most restaurants, but DaNico surprised us with dairy-free desserts that were both indulgent and satisfying—a rare and much-appreciated treat! Overall, DaNico delivered on all fronts—ambiance, service, and cuisine. It was a memorable experience.More infoDaNicoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Little Italy / College St.•4.8
- MMarisaVIPToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFood was tasty. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. Will be back. Steak and potato was amazing, lobster pasta was good but slightly over hyped. Tomato sandwich is a must. Only thing we didn't like was the tuna crudo, fish was nice quality but the olive caramel was nasty.More infoBar PrimaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Queen West•4.7

- CcharlotteSydney •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024Phenomenal meal - completely surpassed even my highest expectations. Excellent, top notch service that was the perfect amount of attentive and professional that was never disruptive but always available. The signature tasting menu is incredible and a testament to the chefs’ vision and heritage, and both the premium and the classic wine pairings are not to be missed with their thoughtful craftsmanship and creativity. Elements such as the eel gelato were new to my family and myself, however I have never been so thankful that I put my trust in the chefs. I truly cannot recommend highly enough.More infoDon Alfonso 1890Price: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Harbourfront•4.8
