Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Kennett Square

I enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch at Cafe Aldo. We shared a Caesar salad(I would have liked them to split it in the kitchen). I had excellent Veal Saltimbocca and my friend had sweet potato gnocchis. I had indicated on the reservation that it was a birthday lunch and at the end of the meal two biscotti arrived with the best sparkler I’ve ever seen in a restaurant!

Again, another wonderful experience at Rosalie. The food was excellent. The breakfast pizza, french toast, and potatoes were the perfect brunch combo. Fantastic service and the cherry on top was the birthday ice cream cup for my wife. At least two employees said happy birthday to her, which was also a small but thoughtful gesture. We will most certainly be back at Rosalie!

Thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had the beet salad with grilled chicken, eggplant stack, spaghetti and meatballs, veal parm with a side of fettuccine Alfredo, and the poached pear salad with grilled salmon. The red wine the waiter suggested was really good too. The burolo. The people that work there could not be nicer! Definitely recommend

Our server Larry was knowledgeable, gracious, and checked in with our party just often enough. His service elevated our experience and he even caught in passing it was one of our birthdays. Sparkler on our shared dessert was a nice touch without making the birthday gal the center of the entire restaurant's attention.

Had the most lovely birthday dinner during the Toscono menu. Chef Liz & Co. served a fantastic dinner that had my fiancé and I stuffed to the gills (in the best way possible!!). It was such a wonderful treat to experience Tuscany through Chef Liz’s eyes! The boar ragù with fresh pappardelle was out of this world! Don’t miss out on this culinary gem!
