Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Hawaii

We haven’t been to Arancino in a while. We were so glad to see that not only were they still open, but the level of service and the quality of the food was as fantastic as we remembered! Our server could not have been sweeter, and since we both had become vegetarians beginning 2025, she recommended some items not on the menu and also said that they could alter some existing menu items to make them vegetarian friendly. We will definitely be back to Arancino

The pre-meal bread, the squid oil pasta, and the pizza were all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. My wife, who joined me, was feeling a bit cold due to a cold she caught, so we requested a blanket, but there were none available. However, our server, James, kindly brought her warm water, which we greatly appreciated. It wasn’t just the great taste of the food, but also James’s warm hospitality that made our dining experience truly perfect.

Wonderful meal, wonderful service, highly recommend! If staying at the Kahala resort - so convenient but worth it to visit this restaurant if not staying at Kahala resort. Variety of options and different price points for anyone who visits.

We came to watch the sunset and we heard they had great food. We were not disappointed, pricey but the food was really really good. If you’re ok with paying the money it’s worth it. Short rib was good and the oxtail pasta was crazy good. Cock tails are solid as well. Wines by the glass are geographically limited but the Tyler Chardonnay and the Chianti were very very tasty. Staff was very nice are server was always there when we needed something. We are thinking of heading back for another sunset with a bigger party before we leave the island. I was thrown off by the grilled Cesar salad. Never had a salad that was grilled before. It was a strange experience and the butt of the salad was still on so I’m not sure if they clean it well. None the less we still ate most of it as we were hungry haha but would probably not order it again

It was lovely, the atmosphere was great and the food matched the ambience. The owner was quite nice also.
