Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Edmonton / Northern Alberta

Lovely dinner and service. There were a few loud patrons due to the hockey game however. It was nice to get a rose at the end. My Italian boyfriend especially loved our Italian Valentine’s dinner. Thank you!

My husband and I came in for lunch today. He had the Italian Sausage soup and the Spicy Rigatoni. I had the Panzanella Salad and the Spaghetti Beef Ragu. We also shared the cheesecake for dessert! Everything was delicious! The food tastes wonderful. Really a nice treat to have the food freshly prepared. We are always pleased with the food and service at ORO! A lovely place to have some authentic Sicilian meals.The Valentines menu had many options to choose from. The lobster pappardelle was delectable as was the beef and bean starter soup selection. If you haven’t tried this place give it a try you wo t be disappointed.

Delicious food and always great service! The set Valentine’s Day menu was super tasty, but I do wish they gave slightly bigger portions of a couple of the dishes. Could’ve done with just a touch more pasta and arancini—overall didn’t leave hungry, but did still have room for a bit more. Chicken parm, strozzapreti, and grilled zucchini were fab!
