Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in River Oaks

Emma Jane is that perfect something special! We enjoyed an incredible charcuterie board and the best shoe string fries I’ve ever come across. Service and ambience was excellent, can’t wait to come back!

Lovely dining experience -- very nice for a business meeting during seasonal holidays -- food was great overall, and the caviar special was tempting but we just had appetizer, entree, and dessert with coffee. All was excellent. If I could nitpick, I would say bring a small spoon when you serve the espresso and bring a loaf of hard crusted bread when you serve the escargot. But otherwise, all was very nice, thanks!

Reunion of two classmates for lunch. We were treated with just the right amount of attention and respect by the waitstaff. Your kindness was much appreciated. Thank you for the yummy food as well, of course! We have met there several times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Kudos for the near perfection of your combination of food, atmosphere, and attention.
