If you want a spectacular dining experience, go to Chataeu Anna Maria. Went for Christmas dinner. Ambience gets a 10 along with food & service. Shout out to Sarah, our server. Price was reasonable. Kudos for the “Jingle-tini” Christmas cocktail!🍸

We frequent Michelin Star rated restaurants wherever we travel. The Perfect Caper is absolutely serving on this caliber. Upon entering you are greeted by a gracious host who immediately found us a spot at the niche bar, which was quite busy. The bar has lively attendants who serve great house stuffed olive martinis. From there our host escorts us to our cozy table for two where we enjoyed a Christmas Eve designed menu. Lobster/Palm heart salad, crispy fried shrimp over avocado and delightful healthy portion of a lemon drizzle and finally our perfectly seared scallop topped with crab and an artful creation of candied lemon, a lovely surprise taste; all over black rice and baby bok choy. The meal ends with a Carmel butter tort that we will long remember as the “best dessert we’ve ever had.” Special mention to Mary Jane, our server who delivered our courses with a flair worthy of a starring evening!

Some of the best food in downtown Sarasota. We ordered several small plates to her and each one was delicious. We loved the Peppered salmon entree. And the scallops so delicate they melted in your mouth. Can’t wait to visit Marcel’s again to try more dishes

By Patrik Pettersson is the most inventive restaurant in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Patrik (the chef) changes his menu every 3 weeks and is always coming up with dishes and ingredients I have never imagined that work really well together. We have eaten all over the world - dining in Paris is something we do on a regular basis - yet, we love being able to eat some unbelievable food in our own backyard! Justin runs the show making sure the courses aren't coming out too fast or too slow. He comes up with the most wonderful wines and always makes dining a pleasure. The staff is outstanding and makes sure we are well taken care of. I can't believe that the foodies aren't lining up for this one. Do not let the location - a hotel near the SRQ airport - put you off. The food and wine could be served in a cave or a fancy location and it would not make the experience any less or more desirable. We look forward to our next visit!!!!
