Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in South Dallas

A New Neighborhood Favorite! Pillar Bistro exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional from start to finis. To kick it off the Zero Degrees martini and espresso martini we had at the bar was the perfect start to the evening. The Hamachi and Apple and Beef Tartare were fresh and flavorful, the Grilled Leeks had a rich, smoky depth, and the Fried Chicken was perfectly crispy and delicious . We finished with the Coconut Cream Pie, which cannot be skipped. Pillar is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood and easily one of the best restaurants in Dallas. Highly recommend! Already can’t wait to go back.

My meal was presented beautifully but didn’t have much flavor. The broccolini starter was cold and the salmon, though well prorated, was without flavor. The service was fantastic and the ambiance would be great for a date night or quiet gathering.

We wanted to enjoy the last day of Restaurant Week with a nice dinner. We were the only people in Perle on Maple! For our entire dinner. The service was great from Jose and the bartender. However, it took a while for the food to come out. Surprisingly, since we were the only people in the restaurant. Although I enjoyed the dinner and outing, I’m not sure I would return. Maybe I would try brunch on a weekend but would probably not go back for dinner again.
