- NNicolaKent •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe revisited The Crab to celebrate my husbands special birthday with our two adult children . I had pre booked over a week before and added to the booking what we were celebrating. On arrival we had a choice of two tables when we arrived which was good as my husband struggles with loud background music so we were seated away from the pianist (who is amazingly talented) this meant we could enjoy the ambiance and the music more. We had to ask for the wine menu and then waited over 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drink/food order. Food was great - we had calamari, mussels, hake, halibut and crab between us. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Slightly disappointed as no one mentioned my husbands birthday so at the end of the evening I had to go up to ask the waitress at the bar if the restaurant did anything special for a celebration. She said yes and would arrange something. A plate was brought out with a happy birthday message, some fruit and the tiniest brownie....such a shame as I had to ask for it!More infoThe Crab at BournemouthPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bournemouth•4.4
- AAlfieBath/Somerset •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMe and my girlfriend visited The Ivy (Bath) for our 3 year anniversary and we were astonished by how ambient the entire restaurant felt. We booked for 8:45pm and were greeted and brought to our table immediately. We ordered the coolers which were both delicious and ordered olives to share for starters as we had been walking around the Christmas markets prior, eating food there also. For mains, I ate the duck curry and my girlfriend had the chicken which were both delicious.More infoThe Ivy Bath Brasserie and GardenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Bath•4.3

I can highly recommend the sea bass. It is superb and cooked to perfection 👌🏽 Our waitress, Vida was attentive, helpful and friendly. I can honestly say that this is the best restaurant in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. The decor is delightful and a feast for the eyes. It's a wonderful and welcoming place. From the receptionist to the manager, the service is impeccable.More infoIvy BournemouthPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Bournemouth•4.3
