- MMaryDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a wonderful dinner at Selden Standard. Ahsley our waitress was very attentive as were the servers who brought out each dish. Explaining what each one was and confirming that there was none of the allergy items I had mention. The food was delicious and I loved the small plates so that we could try everything. Will definitley be back.More infoSelden StandardPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.8

Sadly we heard the cook had a heart attack (prayers everything is ok) and the restaurant still pulled it off !More infoG's Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Shelby Township•4.2
- LLarryDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had an awesome experience here for our annual Christmas Eve/Birthday dinner with our family. The restaurant and surrounding area was decorated beautifully, it is so nice to see Detroit aglow again. Our server; Donovan; was very attentive in spite of having several tables; he anticipated our every need and helped to make the evening very enjoyable. Every entree was presented beautifully; complements to the chefs; it made for a very memorable experience and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent overall; the only complaint was that the Chicken Milano was a little dry; two of us had it and it was the same for both; maybe add a little more of the wonderful sauce that came with it. One minor complaint; as mentioned the ambience was awesome at this restaurant but the lights seemed to "strobe" with the light music playing in the background. Four people in our party would be considered senior citizens and we all noticed the lights flickering to the beat of the music; this may not even be noticeable to younger people though. Overall though we all recommend this restaurant to anyone; the owners obviously care a great deal and have created a perfect dining experience.More infoLumen DetroitPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.7
- JJoelDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe found this restaurant to be uniquely unpretentious by offering an upscale dining experience that also features a great breakfast and lunch menu aside from fantastic dinner selections at very reasonable prices! The service is impeccable and the dining rooms are cozy, warm and inviting.More infoRH HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Rochester Hills•4.7
- TTimothyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoI had leek soup, which was nice and hot, good presentation, and tasted good. My wife had a salad, which she said was good, large pieces of feta cheese. The bread was warm, soft, and tasty. She also had the prime strip steak, which was cooked correctly, to order. I had the caccio e pepe, which was better than expected, and I really liked it. Quality over quantity. My wife had Riesling, I had red wine (ironically, should've been the other way around given what we ate). I had a red Burgundy, which was good; then a Willamette pinot noir, which was a very nice sequence. She had a lemon cake for dessert, I had a vintage port wine, which was quite good. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Loud at first, but it quieted down. Narrow space to walk between tables, then larger as more people departed. Spent $250 with tip.More infoTallulah Wine Bar and BistroPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.8
