Traditional menu but done up a little extra special. I recommend this place very much.More info71AbovePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
- BBrendaLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were able to find street parking. The restaurant was festive and surrounding area was well lighted. We sat at the bar while waiting to be seated. Cocktails were good and strong! We chose the prix fixe menu including dessert - brussels, corn, beets, clams, sea bass, and added the crispy pork belly - all was so savory and delightful! Ambiance was pretty! Service by Claire was awesome! Overall fantastic! We will go back for more! Great job Girl and The Goat!More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
- MMikevipSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoFirst time for us at Proper, the photos and previous reviews had won us over. Highlights; service was very solid and atmosphere was as the photos led on, very nice. The food; caesar salad, deviled eggs to start - both okay, but lacking any "oh these are good" moments. Entrees - chicken paccata and salmon - too much butter and again, okay, but no, "oh my this is good" bites. The misc; music was in/out and not really heard from our seat making it eerily quiet at times when the music wasn't on. Overall a 3.5 experience.More infoThe Proper RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• La Canada•4.8
- EElaineLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a great dining experience Fri., 11/22/24. Our server Matt was wonderfully attentive and had extensive knowledge of the menu and cocktail list. The food was great, thoughtful preparation and complex flavor profiles. The live music and holiday decor elevated our experience. Looking forward to our next visit.More infoBourbon Steak Los AngelesPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Glendale•4.8
