Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Larchmont

Thyme is my go to restaurant for special occasions. I had the tuna tartare and lobster for my main course and Brussels sprouts. My husband had the delicious halibut with an amazing mushroom risotto. The apple cobbler and chocolate soufflé with gelato was also amazing.

Great! Food was wonderful, we ordered multiple small plates and enjoyed every one. Cocktails were excellent as well

The food was amazing. Very bright, playful, and flavorful for this year’s orchid show. I had the Salmon cooked medium and it had a luscious fullness with a beautiful crispy skin. If you do dessert try the nube de guava. The cute trifle will definitely make you smile.

We stopped in for a meal and were blown away by the flavors, service, and overall experience. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The Scarpiello Wings had just the right balance of heat and tang, making them a must-try for wing lovers. The NY Strip Steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of rich, savory goodness. Even the Kids’ Spaghetti was a hit—simple but done right, proving that they put care into every dish, big or small. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. It’s also a great spot for families, with a kid-friendly vibe that makes dining out with little ones stress-free. The host was vey charming. The food was very good, especially the dessert: chocolate lava cake.
