I come to The Burnham frequently for lunch and I have been to dinner there several times. It was very quiet this afternoon and not a lot of folks in the restaurant. It was quiet, the holiday ambiance and decorations were great. The food was outstanding as usual. My brother had a caesar salad and the fried chicken sandwich, his friend had the pot roast sandwich with French fries and I had a Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. Again, the food was outstanding, but I think $23 for the pizza is just a little steep, especially for it being a thinner crust pizza. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious — just slightly overpriced. I do realize that restaurants in hotels like the Hilton do have higher prices; although I am willing to pay for good food. Our server was outstanding (I am sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service). The service was top shelf and the food was excellent. We were eating off each other’s plate because it ALL looked so good. 😊 our waitress was beyond impressive; in fact the whole staff was in excellent form.
