Excellent service and food! Soups and sandwiches are always tasty. Samplers are fun. Popovers with strawberry butter are a treat as is the chicken bouillon to start. Granddaughter loved her “pasta with red sauce”. Desserts are a nice finish - chocolate chip cookie served warm, crème brûlée yummy, pecan ball delish.

Everything was very nice. I was expecting a big crowd, as this was the last Sunday before Christmas. Surprisingly it was very quiet and not very busy. Our servers name is Sierra. She is almost due to deliver her baby…. like four days away from her due date ! She gave us exceptional customer service. Very friendly.

My husband birthday - food was great, service was wonderful! Even the General manager was out the floor helping!! They had a Jaz band that was very good! The only thing was the band was too loud to talk to anyone at our table with screaming or repeating! But we all have to Great Time!

Unique and exquisitely prepared menu. Very attentive and personable staff. My wife and I thought we'd be sensible and split a salad and a sandwich from the weekday lunch menu; both were stunning. The Pear Salad (Red Wine Poached Pear, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Candied Walnuts, Castelfranco Radicchio, Frisée, Ice Wine Vinaigrette)...enough for two by itself. Also split the Autumn Grilled Cheese sandwich (Apple Maple Bacon Jam, Fontina, Brie on Whole Wheat)...perfectly assembled and toasted. Oh, and the sandwich comes with Choice of Simple House Salad, French Fries or Old Bay Potato Chips. So for us, fries! A menu full of wonderfully hard decisions, all with floor to ceiling glass windows looking out over the pond and park and architecture of The Modern.

Ordered crippled chicken tacos. The ambience was great, server sweet, white rice was delicious and as for the tacos great , the only thing after getting cold were to gummy to eat were the corn tortillas. Not sure if they were just over cooked or heated.
