I think that it is the best upscale restaurant in the Salt Lake area bar none The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the noise level was very low in spite of the restaurant being crowded. Our party of 4 shared an appetizer of the Alpine Nachos which were unusual and so delicious. Two of our party members had the SEARED ELK STRIPLOIN. (medium rare), one member had the BISON STEAK AU POIVRE (rare) and the 4th member had the TOGARASHI CRUSTED TUNA TATAKI. Dessert consisted of the Bread Pudding and the ice cream. We were able to bring our own wine so we were not disappointed there either. The food was superbly done and the ingredients fresh. Kudos to the chef, kitchen staff and wait personnel.
