Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Capitola

Lots of energy because the lounge was full and there was a duo playing music. At our table in the restaurant it wasn't easy to carry on a conversation between the four of us because of th noise level. Easier to talk two on two. Drinks were excellent. vodka martini and basil gimlet. We'll go back again. Lounge menu is appealing for an afternoon cocktail.

This is our favorite restaurant and we always return for important celebratory events. Last night, every single food item we ordered was off the charts delicious. Nancy was a lovely waitress who was also enjoyable to chat with. The only wrinkle in our experience was that our table was not ready for us despite having a reservation, so we had to wait. But it is Valentine's Day weekend and was a busy evening at Cafe Cruz. We had a lovely evening and a fabulous meal!

Super delicious seafood pasta. Rib dinner was huge and tasty. Good desserts too. Service was pretty good, a few delays here and there but it was a busy evening. Staff was super helpful, and when I called ahead, they gave me directions to parking and were patient with it. Not always the case these days! We would like to come again!

We stayed at the resort and went to the restaurant for our anniversary. Shoutout to the host! She was super sweet and professional (we didn’t catch her name unfortunately) its nice to meet someone with vreat personality. Our server andrew was super nice too! The best customer service i’ve ever had! We got the bone in short ribs, and burger for entree. We liked the burger more, also we ordered a calamari for an appetizer it was the best calamari we ever had!! Definitely will come back there

A very nice dinner. Russel was an attentive, competent server. We will be back.
