The carpaccio was very delicate, not too much cheese so the steak was able to shine. The lobster bisque was so yummy. But the star of the night was the lobster carbonara. OMG. I have been dreaming about this dish. Truly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. We live 2.5 hours from Newport, but I will make the drive just for this dish. The drinks were also amazing. Unique cocktails for sure. Service was also a 5/5. I highly recommend Jo's American Bistro and cannot wait to be back. Also we came with a baby and the environment was great for him too!More infoJo's American BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Newport•4.8

Calamari , chowder, clam fritters, lobster pasta and short rib tacos were all exceptionally delicious! Very nice table, we requested to sit by the fireplace, beautifully set table with linen napkins. We had a very relaxing evening, and the staff never made us feel rushed, even though we were the last out of the dining room, after 4 hours and 2 bottles of a very good and reasonably priced CA wine. The food was very good, though the portions were a bit on the smaller side. We have dined at Weekapaug Inn several times but not since the pandemic, but we will definitely go back. Truly a great evening.More infoThe Restaurant at Weekapaug InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Westerly•4.8
