At Shorty's -- retro games, such as darts, shuffleboard, giant connect four, foosball and pinball, are mixed with more modern elements, like a vintage style but ‘social ready’ photo booth, a digital train station split-flap sign of a busy schedule of “arriving and departing” beer selections and house made craft-draft cocktails, PLUS an epic 1970’s basement inspired karaoke room. Our open kitchen turns out scrumptious comfort food like Fried Chicken, Short Rib Mac & Cheese + Big Sammies. Outside, our camp-style fire pits are the perfect place to kick back and cozy up. We were originally sat next to some pretty excited Steeler Pre game meal fans which were a little loud. Our waitress offered a new table and we were then served an excellent meal with great hospitality. Will definitely be back!

First time in Pittsburgh and wanted to try this place. My 10yo and I had the Beef Wellington for two, it was amazing. The Sargent pepper old fashion was made to perfection. The carrots and potatoes sides were undercooked twice. Still well worth the visit!

I took my 82 year old father here for dinner following a show at Heinz Hall. We were greeted and seated promptly. The booth tables were roomy and easy to enter and exit. My only issue with anything was the restaurant was quite cold the entire meal. But our server was very welcoming and knowledgeable on the menu. Everything was beautifully presented and arrived at appropriate times, not rushing us nor making us wait. The food was divine! My father said he couldn’t remember the last time he’d had a fillet that was so tender and cooked to the perfect temp. My chicken was so moist and melted in my mouth. I could have cut it easily with a plastic knife if necessary. I also found the bill surprisingly acceptable for the food and drink offered. I would highly recommend Braddocks Rebellion to everyone.
