- PPhillipaVIPNew York City •26 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went in for an early quick dinner before taking our kids to the airport. Service was terrific and menu had great options. Calamari was oily but seasoning was a good. Chicken sandwich, burger, and muscles were amazing. Steak was good but should have offered the option for the sauce to be on the side. Overall Manhattan food and drink prices are crazed but overall experience was lovely.More infoThe Ribbon - UWSPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Upper West Side•4.6
- PPamelaNew York City •32 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a lovely lunch at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. The entrees were great—burgers, Cobb Salad and a chicken dish. I didn’t care for the appetizers; warm pretzel was doughy inside and dates wrapped in bacon had very burnt bacon and dates were weird, and not like a date at all. My friend makes these and they are so good. These were not. But everything else was very nice. The server was very very nice and attentive just as you would like. Will return.More infoHo-Ho-Kus Inn & TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Ho-Ho-Kus•4.5

- DDawnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We were in New York the Sunday before New Year’s, and had the great fortune of going to Sugar Bar. I seen Valerie Simpson on TV a few days before and it reminded me of this restaurant. So glad I happened upon that interview. A New York neighborhood restaurant bar was full of chatting people having a good time. The food was good. The drinks were great and the desserts scrumptious. More importantly, it was beautiful to pay how much to Ashford & Simpson. It reminded me of growing up with their music in the background. We went on a Sunday; next time I’ll be sure to go on a day that they have music!More infoSugar BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Upper West Side•4.6
- EericNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024Ordered the spinach dip with the cheesy lavosh (always our favorite) Scallops and french dip sandwich. Both were great. We went for the holidays and ordered some of the seasonal drinks which were not as great as the food but overall was a good time!More infoHoulihan's - ParamusPrice: Moderate• American• Paramus•3.8
