- BBriellenMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoHad some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at Fork. The service was excellent and they went out of their way to offer recommendations to us while visiting Philly. Recommend it to anyone visiting who doesn’t want touristy vibes.More infoFork - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Old City•4.7
- NNadiaVIPPhiladelphia County •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Intimate jewel of a place located upstairs from Ogawa omakase sushi bar. The cocktails are a marvel—loved the tomato essence riff of the dirty martini. But the bespoke cocktail made after giving your taste preferences (vegetal vs sweet, gin vs vodka, etc) were revelatory. While the menu is spare it’s all delicious and be prepared to order two sets of fries and their addictive wasabi mayo dip. The chicken is crunchy, the tofu slider satisfying and the hot dog rich and juicy. The celery and cucumbers are great palate cleansers. Don’t forget to order a beer to accompany the food and save your cocktail for sipping before and after. There were 4 of us and we ordered everything on the menu with doubles on sandwiches and fries. Your time slot is limited to 1 hr and 45 min and you’re going to want to take advantage of all of it so plan to order your next round of cocktails 10-15 min before you’re done with your first as they do take time to prepare. Budget $100pp with 2 rounds of cocktails and food. Server and host Eli Eisenstein is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Cocktail maestro Rob stopped by at the end to check in which was so appreciated. We will certainly be back. A wonderful addition to the Philly food scene.More infoAlmanacPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Old City•4.7
- JJoeVIPBaltimore / Maryland •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 3, 2024arrived right when they opened, the bartender/hostess/waitress do all was amazing. we did the tuesday two-for $119. we had the bang bang shrimp a wedge salad and french onion soup..the french onion soup was one of the best I have ever had. for the entrees we i got the ribeye steak and my wife got the steak and lobster pasta dish and we wrapped it all up in sharing a creme brulee. The place is very rustic and charming, and the service and food did not disappoint. Its right across the bridge from south philly and the sports attractions/concert venues. I would highly recommend in trying this place out.More infoChubby's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Gloucester City•4.6
