- LLeonardNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy first time here. Nice large restaurant with two different seating areas. Wonderful ambiance. What is nice about the menu is you can have dinner for a modest cost (i.e, their pizza, Union burger, salads and appetizers) or get more moderate priced main courses. The portions were very decent size. The food came out fresh and nice temperature. The service was very good with the waiter and support wait staff very attentive to our needs. Will be back.More infoTHE UNIONPrice: Expensive• American• East Meadow•4.7
- LLindaVIPNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe King Bar was delightful. Food prepared perfectly. In particular, shrimp tempura with blistered peppers were tasty and a good size portion for two or three to share. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and as good as any steak house in the city. Wait staff was very attentive .More infoKing Bar by David BurkePrice: Expensive• American• Garden City•4.4
- AAlexVIPNew York City •47 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur evening at James & Main was incredible, a perfect date for our end of the week. The ambience is stunning, and the food tops even that! We started with their homemade Italian sodas (dry January!) which were delicious, the Main Street salad, and the beef tartar. All the appetizers were great but the star goes to the salad which was a blend of flavors such that each bite was differently amazing. For dinner we had the lasagna nonna (perfect sauce!) and the grilled pork chop over polenta. Both stole the show but the grilled pork chop won me over with its sauce! We finished with the bread pudding for dessert which was honestly the best I’ve had in YEARS. The food was fantastic, but I would be remiss to say that our server Christie made this into a five star experience. She was perfectly attentive, offering great suggestions on what we might like without being overbearing during our meal. When each course came out she appeared with things we didn’t even know we needed (extra sharing spoons, more bread for the sauces)! We can’t wait to go back!!More infoJames and MainPrice: Very Expensive• American• East Rockaway•4.5

- MMariaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 18, 2024Great time. Agree with the other reviews, which was why I chose this place. It's more of a bar so it was pretty much only us for dinner on a Wednesday night, but the food and service were great. Highly recommend. Nice decor as well.More infoFranklin SocialPrice: Expensive• American• Franklin Square•4
