Best Cocktail Bars in Ypsilanti

If you're looking for a place with good drinks and apps and a fun atmosphere (and good jazz background music) .... Ebeneezer is the place! Loved it.

We love casa pernoi! Our food and service was beyond amazing! John, Nico and Amanda are all incredible! Food was beyond delicious. We can’t wait to come back.

It was great to see the previous Red Rock BBQ in downtown Ypsi reopen as the Bitter Truth. The new decor provided a relaxed and warm atmosphere. The restaurant exuded a chill ambiance with a major positive being that there were no big screen TV's to take away from the setting. The menu was primarily BBQ fare and carried over the excellent taste and hearty portions from Red Rock. The cocktail list was solid and the whiskey sour and Paper Plane that my wife and I had were outstanding. The only small nit that I had was that the side item menu was a bit limited but our server informed us that the menu would be expanding little by little. Overall an excellent dining experience at the Bitter Truth and we for sure will be back!

Nice experience and a nice alternative to the (also good) vibe in the brewery/taproom environment in the main space next door. My cocktail was good and my partner said hers was great, so the house-made spirits must be pretty good. I would like to see them add a little bit to the small plates selection (maybe soup or specials) or else it will get less appealing on return visits. (Our salmon pate and caprese plates were fine and presentation was good). You can get beer from the taproom, but not their food.

Best brunch burger ever!! It was absolutely delicious and our server was fantastic! We’re going back for dinner…
