- RRickVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •58 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIn an age of far too many chain restaurants with their boring drink / food menus, what a delight to discover the Bitter Truth. Cool, welcoming vibe… friendly staff… and true cocktail expertise, we felt right at home. Oh, and the barbecue-forward menu did not disappoint. Owners Sean and Myra are fully invested and super personable. Eva and Ava took great care of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you.More infoBitter TruthPrice: Expensive• Barbecue• Ypsilanti•4.5

- JJeffVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was great and our server maya was awesome, however we hated the tvs all over the restaurant. It really detracts from the ambiance and the atmosphere of the experience. It would be fine to have the tvs just at the bar but there is no need for them all over the restaurant, really detracts from it being a top notch dining experience. Highlights: red snapper entree, beef Wellington bites, tuna nachos, the cocktailsMore infoTerra Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Moderate• American• Birmingham•4.6

The bartenders, Dan, and Anne, were so friendly and professional. To top it off drinks were perfect, and for a hotel restaurant actually not unreasonably priced. Food menu was small but hit all the marks as far as a great range of offerings. I highly recommend the burger and onion soup, both were top notch. I will be coming back to stay here again, and would love to see this place during a football weekend!More infoAllen Rumsey - Graduate Ann ArborPrice: Moderate• American• Ann Arbor•2.6
