Best Chinese Restaurants in Washington Heights

Had a lovely first experience at TAO. They have a beautiful lounge you can wait in and get drinks. The ambiance of the restaurant is dim, intimate, and elegant. Drinks were delicious and good size for price. My partner and I got a special that included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Both price and portions were very reasonable. The food was excellent. Service was very quick. Our waiter would only look at and communicate to my boyfriend, which was a bit odd. However, he was kind and helpful. Will definitely come back.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was super fast, and the drinks were the best. The music was also perfect for the atmosphere. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Great experience for our Valentines Dinner! Got the sushi and sashimi for two. Wasn’t crazy expensive only $79 and was very filling and delicious! I love how they gave so much food in portions for two people, so we both got to try new things on each bite. Super modern cozy, would recommend and will for sure go again! Service was great and respectful, host was welcoming, and props to the chefs as well for making the Sashimi so flavorful! I just had it last night, but craving it again already.

What a fabulous addition to the UWS restaurant scene! Aves NYC is simply marvelous in every way. The exquisite food and excellent service combined with a lovely serene decor makes for an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to go back!

This was a really great place to come for Lunar New Year! It was decorated and festive and they offered a prix fix menu that was perfect for our table ( we were 5) we did add some items from the standard menu too to round out our meal. The food was delicious and service excellent. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived too, very affordable ! We will return again.
