After seeing his peers struggle with unhealthy fast food, Denville, raised in a Jamaican household, started delivering flavorful jerk chicken and other Jamaican dishes from his dorm. What began as a small campus venture evolved into a food truck business in 2015, and later, a brick-and-mortar restaurant.     I celebrate my birthday there last Saturday. Which consists a party of 8 people. Everybody enjoy their food.. The food was very hot and had a nice flavor. The waitress was very professional and good music. I highly recommend the spot.

    WENT FOR MY BIRTHDAY YESTERDAY, (FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE).. IN THE BEGINNING I WAS A LITTLE SKEPTICAL BUT AFTER A VERY SHORT WHILE, IT WAS DEFINITELY A VIBE!! IM A SKINNY BIG GIRL WHO LOVES TO EAT, AND THE FOOD WAS FOODIN BABY!! PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE, DRINKS WERE OK IF YOU LIKED FRUITY DRINKS (SO I STUCK TO SHOTS)!! LEWIS AND THYNIS ( I PRAY THATS THE CORRECT SPELLING OF THE YOUNG LADY NAME) WERE DEFINITELY DOIN THEIR BIG ONE!! GREAT PERSONALITY, VIBE, SERVICE, EVERYTHING!!!     Cane is a small, cozy but comfortable restaurant in the up and coming NE Washington DC area. The staff was very polite and accommodating and answered all of their guests questions on the menu. Once we made our orders the food arrived so quickly that we were kind of shocked but in a good way. The food was tasty and spicy, a good heat generator on a chilly winter evening. The only negative comment is that the all Caribbean sound track was too loud for conversation and did not vary in beat enough to give relief. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant, casual dining experience

    The food and drinks were amazing 10/10❤️ we celebrated my big brothers 50th birthday and they provided a free dessert as well. Can’t wait to go back.
