- JJamilaNew York City •4 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoThe customer service was excellent. The cod fish fritter were salty. The oxtails were tough but tasty. The Gríot was great. The shrimp and grits were good but the grits were hard. The Lychee martini and Lemon drops could use less favor qnd a little more alcohol. They charge gratuity for a party of 3 but it was fine.More infoBamboo WalkPrice: Moderate• Caribbean• Flatbush•4.6
- EEdwardNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food and drinks were outstanding! The mac & cheese was spot on, and the oxtail empanadas were equally impressive. The drinks were fantastic as well. I will definitely be returning! The staff was wonderful too.More infoThe BarnyardPrice: Moderate• Caribbean• Farmingdale•4.7
- WWoodleyNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025Had yet again a great time at NK restaurant. Went for brunch with a friend. Food was great ( I had the lamb chops as appetizers and my friend ordered wings). Our server Nigel, was great, friendly and thoroughly explained the menu to us. Our entrees were great as well. I ordered the codfish and ackee meal and my friend ordered grits. We were stuffed and satisfied. I’ll be back soon!More infoNK RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Caribbean• East Meadow•4.6
- SShanellNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024I always enjoy coming to Dunns River. The music is good, the food is amazing and it’s the only sit down Caribbean experience that is top tier compared to the normal hole in the wall establishments with the plex glass separating the customers. Home run for date night. My only wish is that the music isn’t so loud all the time. It’s so hard to have a conversation. I stayed away from Friday & Saturday and picked a weekday date night thinking it would be a quieter background noise kind of night. Nope. We were still shouting at each other. After our meal we ending up walking around in the rain so we could hear each other lol. Something to consider for management maybe.More infoDunns River LoungePrice: Moderate• Jamaican• Rockville Centre•4.5
- SShereeNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 21, 2024My best friend and I stopped here for a very needed girls night after a longgggg work day and it was such a vibe! The atmosphere was perfect—great energy, music that set the mood, and a trendy yet chill setting. We tried a little bit of everything since we read the reviews and settled for the jerk chicken, tacos and wings, and the curry goat. Every dish was REALLLLLLY GOOD. The jerk chicken had a lot of flavor and wasn’t too spicy which we liked, the tacos and wings wad a good starter, the curry goat was tender and delicious. The drinks were trendy and tasty—definitely a highlight of the night. Whether you’re out with your bestie or just want good food and drinks, this spot won’t disappoint. We’ll absolutely be back.More infoD Garden Caribbean Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Flatbush•4
