    We dined on the second floor dining room which is elegant and noise is minimal. The bar area and the atrium area were crowded and noisy. Definitely had a full bar on a Friday night. Had a gin martini which was excellent followed by the Pate and Duck a la orange which was the chef’s special, all excellent. Second visit, this time with a very restaurant critical friend from Georgetown who also gave it a thumbs up.

    We had an absolutely lovely lunch at Black Wall Hitch in Alexandria. The location is amazing on the Old Town Alexandria Waterfront. The decor and ambiance are wonderful and the staff was professional, efficient, and very courteous. Also, the drinks and food were exceptional; we'll definitely be back.

    The omakase experience was delicious! I’ve never had coffee that tastes that good before. Each course is presented beautifully and the barista gives an explanation of the flavors and how to enjoy the various tastes in each course. Arrive hungry, and without previous caffeine if you’re sensitive to it. I was energized all day 🤣!
