- LLucyLondon •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had heard this pub served one of the best Sunday Roasts in the area, and let me tell you—they were absolutely right! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is a local favorite, with a buzzing atmosphere and a short wait for our table. But that wasn’t a problem at all—we were looked after wonderfully. Once seated, our waitress, Lucy, was fantastic! She was efficient, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. She even noticed that the youngest in our group was getting hungry and arranged for their meal to come out quickly—such thoughtful service! And then, the main event—the roasts! Wow. They arrived piping hot, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was perfection! Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Fantastic food, top-notch service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Sunday Roast!More infoThe Three HorseshoesPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Borehamwood•4.4
- BBradleyLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was probably the greatest culinary experience of my life. Managed to get a booking for the Valentine’s Day meal. Not just were the hosts incredibly hospitable but incredibly attentive. The highlights of the menu were almost the entire thing. Both desserts were sublime, the TFC, caviar gougère and roast chicken were amazing. I’ve never seen a scallop as big in my life and for the duck course the main star of that dish in my opinion was the morels. We were put on the chefs table which was like looking into a finely tuned, well oiled machine. There is an almost 100 percent chance I’ll be back in the future.More infoCORE by Clare SmythPrice: Very Expensive• British• Notting Hill•4.8

- KKarenHertfordshire •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!More infoScript Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Borehamwood•3.9
- OTOpenTable DinerHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 18, 2024Had a few drinks and a meal here. The service at the bar was fast. Had the burger deal and was convinced to go for the premium drink, as it somehow made it cheaper than just a burger. The pint was delicious, and it seems they know what they're doing when they look after the lines. Friendly environment and a lovely beer garden. 5 stars across the board Highly recommendMore infoRed Lion WatfordPrice: Moderate• British• Watford•5
