Given that it is 23rd December and the place was packed the staff were friendly, attentive and the service was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and nothing was too much trouble.More infoGreendale Farm Shop Cafe and RestaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Exeter•4.2
- RRobDevon •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA wonderful setting in a very pretty village. Seating is limited so it is advised to book in advance. The service is well drilled and we did not experience any problems. We ordered our meal and the waitress did tell us there would be quite a wait. Not a problem and well worth the 45 minutes. Please remember that this is freshly cooked food and quality produce. If you want a quick "ping" meal then best think about going to a large pub chain! All of our meals arrived pipping hot and well worth the wait, fantastic. We also met the two sisters who are the chefs and they told us that they along with a sisters husband have been there for 20 years. They were very passionate about what they do and how they source the produce as local as possible. A lovely evening and we will be revisiting again in the new year.More infoThe Linny at CoffinswellPrice: Expensive• British• Newton Abbot•4.8
- JJulianDevon •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoJamie. Christmas menu is a real cracker. Superb quality and brilliant value . XMAs parties made it a bit noisy, but nothing could detract from the quality of the food or the value. Twenty Seven has to be the best restaurant in the South West and Kingsbridge is lucky to have Jamie and his team. They are always trying something new to get diners through the door while never sacrificing quality. A lesson to other restaurants and pubs in the area who week in week out offer the same average food.while charging similar prices to Twenty Seven. Jamie operates in a higher stratosphere.. I urge everyone to to patronise it or we will loose this great restaurantMore infoTwenty Seven by Jamie RogersPrice: Expensive• British• Kingsbridge•4.8
- TTracyDevon •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Service was great and relaxed atmosphere.Quality of food although good, 2 of the lunches were superb fish & chips. Focaccia lunch was just a huge sandwich on a small wooden board which meant food kept falling off onto the table. I personally found it too large for both the board and for my appetite and felt the money was wasted. I would have been more than happy to pay just over half the price for half of the meal. Other clients also were overhead saying they were struggling to eat it. The Caesar salad would have fed out whole table so again was too large and therefore a lot of wastage.More infoGara RockPrice: Very Expensive• British• Salcombe•4.2
