- LlauraSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis place is very unique and cute. The fried chicken benedict was sooooo good! Perfectly fried crispy chicken. The potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. The loco moco was awesome too. Huge portions. Had such a fun cocktail with a teddy bear ice cube on top!More infoSon & Garden - San FranciscoPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.4
- KKathrynVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was delicious and eating outside across from Lake Merritt is a pleasure! The avocado toast (with a generous serving of green salad) was beautifully prepared, as was the pastrami benedict that my partner ate (unlike many we've had, it was not drowned in hollandaise sauce but simply topped with it). My only reservation was about the eggs on the avo toast. I asked the server to make sure the yolks were "not runny." She wrote down and repeated the instruction. But when they arrived, they were totally runny. She offered to get me a scrambled egg instead - which arrived perfectly prepared. But then I was charged for it. I think if the kitchen makes an error they need to make good on it, without additional charge. Other than that, it was a wonderful meal.More infoGrand Lake Kitchen - Lake MerrittPrice: Moderate• American• Oakland•4.7

- LLesaCharlotte •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 22, 2024Our second time dinning at the new breakfast eatery "The Peach" and this has def became our new weekend spot. Reservations are highly recommended especially if you are a late riser. Kao was our server and honestly he made our breakfast experience 5 stars. Thanks Kao! He let us tour upstairs & gave us some of the history of how the new restaurant came about. I haven't written a yelp review in over 6 years and felt compelled to rave about this new place. Ambiance - 5/5 cozy, cute, & trendy. The patio isn't open yet due to weather but next Spring is around the corner! Food - 4.5/5 the flavors are amazing and unique to the non Asian fusion palate--like my bf. His go to is always shrimp n grits, happy to see this place has a take on it. If you're a fan, TRY THE CURRY SHRIMP & CONGEE!! Their pancakes have a slight lemon flavor and tbh I crave these along with the chicken Chinese sausage all week. I guess my only draw back is the inconsistency, although very minor. First time dinning we got a 3 stack of pancakes for $5, this time we just got one. First time dinning I almost got no salad. This time the salad was abundant (a plus). A new place like this will figure out the kinks and we understand cooks & servers are learning a new menu. Lobster toast was fresh and delightful. Nice large chunks of poached lobster with aioli drizzled w/dill atop. As a shareable this was a nice touch!More infoThe PeachPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Oakland•4.6
