- SSandeepVIPChicago / Illinois •106 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe live in the neighborhood but we dined here after 2-4 years, came in with friends. The vibe & service were great. We opted for Piononos (which we all loved), Empanadas, Mole Y Leon, Pulpo, Shrimp Chicharron + Lomo Boliviano. I preferred Oaxaca Old Fashioned > After Me. Re: desserts, we concurred Pastel De Elote was better than Chocolate Tres Leches.More infoAmaruPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.7
- GGerardChicago / Illinois •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We dined here (party of 3) on Christmas 4pm. We made reservations and when we arrived I was concerned because it appeared there were a lot of people waiting to get a table. But the hostess walked us to our table immediately...no waiting!!! Since it was our first time dining here, our server walked us through the "process " with table cards that are red and green so the servers with the meat know if we want more. The salad bar was large and fresh. I liked the whole marinated mushrooms and Brazilian corn. I didn't eat much from there as I wanted to safe stomach space for meats. We focused on filet, ribeye, and special sirloin. Each person at our table preferred their meat at different temperatures of wellness. The servers accommodated our needs. Despite the restaurant being very busy the staff kept pace. Lastly they have a caramelized pineapple Old Fashioned. I highly recommend getting that if you are a fan of Old Fashioned.More infoFogo de Chao - ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Downtown / Loop•4.1
- AAnnVIPChicago / Illinois •60 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024The various meats here are outstanding. Today (Christmas) they seemed to be serving more steak than usual, which is always a wonderful thing! The sausage and pork were also delicious. The complimentary "shots" they were passing out were good, too. (They were actually small versions of several of their cocktails, including a couple kinds of Margaritas.) We've learned to not fill up on the salad bar, but instead to enjoy all the meats. This helps us feel we're getting better value for our meal. We've been to this location twice now, and each time have come away extremely satisfied.More infoFogo de Chao - RosemontPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Rosemont•4.2
