Best Bistros in Hyde

My first visit to Kala and it did not disappoint.Really enjoyed our meal. We all had the 3 course for £20 bistro menu which was delicious and great value. We dined at 4pm on a Tuesday in January so unfortunately the restaurant was empty. The service was friendly and efficient. All the restaurants in the Elite Bistro group are consistently excellent.

We were welcomed, shown to a table, menu choices explained and order for drinks and food were taken. We were served drinks and food in a shorter time than we might have expected for a busy pub. The food was excellent, Sunday Roast and Fish and chips. All food was hot, cooked well and very tasty. Puddings were also prepared well and tasted good. We had a toddler with us who enjoyed their children’s meal. All the staff were efficient and responded to our needs. Thank you 3 Houses we will be back.

We booked for a birthday meal for 2 diners. There was an excellent choice of dishes on the menu. We particularly liked the suggested wine pairings with each dish and followed the recommendations, all of which were available by the glass. The restaurant was busy, which given the freezing weather suggest that this is a valued restaurant. Despite the business, which created a good ambiance, the acoustics were good and sowe were able to converse easily. Service was excellent and unobtrusive. There was lovely, and completely unexpected, birthday surprise at the end of the meal. Overalll great value for money and a good dining experience.

Another amazing meal produced by Daniel and all the staff From being greeted at the door to paying the bill the whole experience is amazing. Everyone works so hard to make sure your experience is the best and the food and its presentation is out of this world with every meal being explained as it arrives from the kitchen. My advice would be to sit at the bar and watch the hard working staff prepare everything to perfection. We went with the set menu and when we were intrigued as to what was in the ingredients Chef took time to not only tell us but also show us the produce which is grown by them in Cheshire. Yes it can get expensive but what price do you pay for locally sourced produce served at this level and with so much dedication
