Best Bistros in Châteauguay

Disappointed with our latest visit. Not enough options on the menu and prices were not justified unfortunately. We’ve been many times, it’s one of our favorites, but this time was not up to par.

Such a wonderful experience. Don’t be fooled by the outdoor appearance - once you walk through the door - the decor, vibe, and food is unreal. We will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Franquette. The service was very detailed and caring. The food was incredibly good. Overall a welcoming unpretentious fine dining experience.

As always, Chef Richard Tate out did himself, as he and his staff put together a wine-pairing tasting menu that was a veritable taste explosion. From the creamy corn bisque starter, blackened catfish, shrimp & grits, duck & chorizo gumbo right through to the banana creme brulee, every bite was a mouthgasm of delight. Paired with interesting wines presented by a sommelier, this was a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Wednesday night. Of course, we hung out with co-owner Chris who was taking care of us behind the bar, and we were served impeccably, as usual, by the dashing Matt (ladies, he's ALL sorts of single now!). Listen, if you haven't experienced Bistro Nolah yet, do your tastebuds a favour and get there NOW. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and if brunch is more your thing, their weekend menu is to die for...fried chicken & french toast, anyone? Lordy, I'm already salivating! We can't wait to go back!!

Incredible food and atmosphere. Each dish was absolutely delicious and the plating was beautiful. The team had great synergy together and made the perfect suggestions for wine. We can’t wait to go back.
