Best Barbecue Restaurants in Buffalo Grove

L. Woods is such a great place!! I go there quite often, and I try to get something different each time. I can honestly say that everything that I have ever ordered is really, really good!! Tonight I had fried fish--Walleye, to be exact, and it was incredibly tasty! I often get the Mahogany Chicken, because that is my favorite, but I do try to mix it up. Not only is the food excellent, but everyone is very friendly and accommodating if you have a special request. I travel from downtown Chicago to the suburbs because this restaurant is so wonderful! Also, I ordered some side dishes and desserts for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and they could not have been better. It is just a simple down home darling place to get a great meal--the bar is always totally hopping, as well as every table being filled. So make sure to make a reservation or you may be disappointed! I cannot say enough great things about L. Woods--just a great meal at a very reasonable price!! Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises has done it again!

Truly a great discovery! Cool atmosphere. Feels like you are in a high-end trendy city restaurant, but located in the suburbs. Food quality is spectacular! Service is excellent. Strongly recommend without reservation. A must try. We cannot wait to return for more!!!

Staff was top notch from the hosts who were able to get merge some tables for my large party to the wait stuff who accommodate seven hangry kids and an egg allergy. Burgers, chicken sandies and apps were as good as the original Loop location.

Food was amazing. Everything tasted great. Only 2 things I wasn’t impressed by, the alcohol beverages were way too overpriced and had little to no alcohol in them and THEY DONT HAVE STEAK KNIVES…odd. lol otherwise everything was great!

Get the wings! They are definitely the best thing on the menu.
