Best Bars And Lounges in Wailea

My husband & I dined with clients at Matteo’s. Our table was outside on the covered lanai, the ambiance & temperature were very enjoyable. Michelle, the hostess was exceptionally welcoming & hospitable upon our arrival. Kiana was our server, she was incredible! So friendly, helpful with the menu, she answered questions about recommendations & ingredients in the menu items. She allowed us time to visit with each other & review the menu, her timing was impeccable throughout our meal. The bruschetta al tonno, misto salad, lasagna, monchong fish special & bolognese were all divine. Great wine & drink menu, too! I would highly recommend Matteo’s in Wailea.

The Kapa Nachos were awesome! Not sure if $5 guacamole was worth it considering the portion size. Kapa Burger was awesome as well! flavorful patty, soft brioche bun and a healthy portion of fries!

A pleasure to dine in a serene spot! The misty Mountain views overlooking the golf course was beautiful!. Our waiter Alejandro was very attentive, courteous, & friendly, enhancing our dining experience. The food was fine. For the price & extra service fee, I would expect some bread or olive starter. Portions are adequate, no leftovers.

We were here a couple of weeks ago and came back 2 nights in a row for more great dinners. Excellent service (Angela, Jerry, Daniel) and food, 2 nights in a row. We live on Maui and having a great staycation at Four Seasons Wailea. Hostesses Rachel and Abeer helpful and friendly. Manager Brianna delightful. We loved everything, not a single complaint. Great olive caponata amuse bouche/starter. The Festa menu is an excellent opportunity to try a variety of dishes. Calamari Fritti, Insalata Tricolore, Caprese Invernale, Pastas (with clams/Vongole; Tagliatelle Bolognese); Wagyu Bistecca with spuma, oyster mushrooms brocollini, smoked ricotta carrots. Excellent creative lemon yuzu dessert reminded us pleasantly of our many trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

The setting was equally impressive. With a stunning view that added to the ambiance, it provided the perfect backdrop for a quiet, relaxing dinner. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy such tranquility while savoring great food. The service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive, which truly elevated the evening. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. If you’re looking for a spot with fantastic food, impeccable service, and a serene atmosphere, The Plantation is a must-visit.
