- JJenniferNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoCame here for a celebratory dinner with my spouse. We shared Clams Casino as an appetizer, and he had sea bass as an entree while I had the grouper. He enjoyed Birdsmouth lager, and I had a cocktail and glass of wine, then we each had dessert (peanut butter brownie and salted chocolate chip cookie). I also had an after dinner drink--the Jolly Roger. Everything was top-notch--the service was efficient but not rushed, the food was hot and delicious, our table was comfortable and we could converse easily but still felt the happy vibe of other diners around us, and the surroundings were elegant. Price point was high-end but not unreasonable--entrees $40-45, drinks around $14 each, extras $10-15 each. Parking was convenient at the Church Street garage across the street (though not included). Would absolutely come here again for a special occasion.More infoSalt Seafood & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• New Brunswick•4.8
- DDanaNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDelicious food and unique dining experience. We arrived early for our reservation but they were able to seat us right away. The decor was beautiful and the drinks were strong and tasty. They also have an extensive wine and spirits list. We started with oysters, which were brought out on a cart. We had the option to choose from a variety of toppings and sauces for the oysters in addition to the typical sauces oysters are served with. We also got the Hamachi starter which was delicious. For our entrees, I got the lobster pasta in sea urchin marinara which is definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed it very much. The serving of lobster was generous - if anything, I would have liked a bit more pasta. My husband got the crispy snapper which I will definitely be ordering next time! Overall, we were very happy with the whole experience and will definitely be back soon!More infoMetropolis by Marcus SamuelssonPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District•4.4
- JJosephNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food and service were both excellent, price for a table for two with two apps, two entrees, two drinks and two desserts (one taken off the bill for a birthday, which was unexpected!) came out to around $100/pp and it was well worth it. If I absolutely had to nitpick, the medium-rare filet had a bit of a char on the outside in places that gave it a partially crunchy texture in those areas. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!More infoChar Steakhouse - Red BankPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Red Bank•4.6
