Best Balkan Restaurants in Washington DC

Yzaer served my girlfriend and I this evening for a late Valentine’s dinner and was truly truly wonderful, so considerate and helpful. Amazing service. Our food (the mushrooms, prawns, and aleppo chicken) was also truly outstanding and highly recommended all of it, the mushrooms in particular. Absolutely would recommend to anyone for a wonderful date night.

I don’t usually do reviews but I could not pass up the opportunity this time. I love this place!!! It was a dining experience and I highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for something different. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. I can’t wait to go back. Don’t change Ambar!

Great experience Daniel was our waiter and he made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend coming here to try different food presentations you wouldn’t normally.

I took my family there to celebrate my daughter & son-in-law's 26-year anniversary. The food and service were fantastic. We loved trying all the different food choices and loved every one of them. My vegetarian granddaughter especially loved the variety of vegetarian choices. We will definitely go there again.
