Best Austrian Restaurants in Thalkirchen-Obersendling

The conditions on booking are outrageous, 20€ in case of no show per person is simply unacceptable, considering we had 2 kids. Now, obviously, I did show up. But 1. It took me ages to book, and I had to change two credit cards. 2. We had two kids with us, and basically, with consumption, we paid almost 40€ more. Now the question is... with no food and service to pay. Is 10€ per person with a minimum of 50€ in case of no show, already enough? With a menu' which honestly it has not much to offer, although everything we had was good, and the service was great, it left me with a bitter feeling. And I believe it is my last time at the restaurant.

Was a lovely busy and buzzy place. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. Our server was very stressed out as there weren’t enough people working apparently- he let it show and the other server near us did not…. The place was great tho and I would highly recommend.

Quick seating against reservation and attentive service from multiple members of the staff. Food was traditional Bavarian (read a lot of meat) in all variations. Even fish option (there is on) was on point and tasted great. Would be back sound I come back to Munich. Entrance a little hard to find but maybe easier and alternative option is through the Meridian Hotel.

Nice dinner, traditional German cuisine. Really good beer. Glad we made a reservation so we could pick seats.

We had dinner here after returning from several days in Austria. The Austrian food here was every bit as good as anything we had in Austria. The schnitzel was perfect, salads delicious, crisp and fresh, and sitting outside in their quiet cul-de-sac on a cool summer evening was magical. Highly recommended.
