- JJoAnnSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat restaurant. Me and my husband celebrated our anniversary here and we had a great time. The food and drinks were amazing. Service and ambiance can’t complain. At the end of our meal they treated us with a celebratory song complete with a cake and sparkling candles which was really nice. This restaurant is underrated.More infoAKA San DiegoPrice: Expensive• Asian• Downtown•3.8
- KKatherineSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis past weekend, my sister and I decided to experience The Grass Skirt during the holiday season. I was so happy. I finally got a chance to experience this bar normally it's hard to get a reservation, but if you decide to go to this place, recommend going right when they open so you can be able to get a walk in timeslot or reserve a time early in the day, they open at 5 PM. The customer service was friendly , great selection of drinks and by far the best Poké I've ever had this will become a tradition for me to come back every year. - JJorgeSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Food and drinks were outstanding and the pacing of it all was equally great (meaning staff didn’t just dump all tapas at one time). The drinks were their signature creative spins on an espresso martini and piña colada that were both delicious and unique. Music would not have started until 8PM but we had to leave for the Light Show at Botanical Gardens.More infoSAGOPrice: Expensive• Asian• Encinitas•4.3
- RRupaVIPSan Diego •13 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 1, 2024The food is excellent but the customer service could use a lot of improvement. For starters, the restaurant was nearly empty when we went for dinner on Halloween night, but the hostess asked us if we had reservations and then proceeded to make us wait to be seated. And even though there were three people in our party and only one other set of diners, she gave us only one menu. When we asked for more menus, she brought us only one more even though she could clearly see there were three of us. Once our food came, the waitress kept hovering around and near us, and pounced on any empty dish she saw in our table even if it meant leaning over one of us or interrupting our conversation to ask if she could clear the empty dish or pass it to her. After bringing us our check, she again hovered around and started to clean up while we were trying to box our leftovers and calculate the tip.More infoBoto Sushi Del marPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Del Mar•4.4
