- SSTEVEFort Lauderdale •345 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoToku presents a very impressive dining setting for an up scale shopping mall location. Service and presentation well done , menu diverse in Asian specialties and food taste above average but not yet near their top competition in the up scale Asian market. Menu pricing leans toward. the high side but then it’s the world we live in . It’s a great place to impress friends or business clients . That’s the plus side to dining here .More infoTOKU - MiamiPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Aventura•4.8
- KKEITHFort Lauderdale •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent experience. Met a couple of friends for a 5:30 reservation. I had looked at the menu's a few times prior to going and knew what I wanted to try. They have a real good Happy Hour menu that I wanted to take advantage of. It doesn't say on their website that it is only at the bar (but that is the case). However, one of the people in our party is in a wheelchair. So the GM (Jared) let us pick some items off of that menu. We had the cucumber salad, a dozen oysters, and the fried chicken. The salad was different, unique, and delicious. Oysters: Nice size and fresh. Fried Chicken fabulous. We also ordered a couple items off of the regular menu. The Snapper Ceviche, Thai Crab Curry, & the Mussels. Each dish was wonderful. For desert who would think of cornbread? J&C did. It's cornbread, vanilla gelato, honey, banana coconut oleo. It's also not to be missed. Our friends got there shortly before us and said that they had just turned the music up right before we arrived. They should probably rethink that. To have such good food, service, & ambiance and then crank up the music is probably not the best idea. Even so, I am still looking forward to a return visit.More infoJ&C OysterPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Hollywood•4.7
- CCharlesvipNew York City •111 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Our only disappointment with the restaurant was not having visited it sooner. Living in the neighborhood, we bypassed it many times before venturing out on a Monday night. To our amazement, the food, the ambiance and service were beyond expectations. Our server, Thomas, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His recommendation of a variation of our usual unfiltered sake was right on. Walking us through the menu, we selected the tuna tower, the Korean barbecue with rice, the grilled octopus and the crispy duck entre. All were excellent but the octopus and the duck were particularly noteworthy. Having worked in Turkey for many years, we can appreciate the correct way to tenderize and char grill octopus. Here, it was done to perfection. Likewise, the duck was crispy on the outside yet still moist on the inside after being sliced and quartered. The outside seating was not overcrowded like many similar venues, and the volume of the music did not preclude us from having strained conversations. While pricey by some Fort Lauderdale standards, it was well worth. Lastly, we were pleased that are open table reservation was promptly honored notwithstanding a busy restaurant.More infoCasa SenseiPrice: Moderate• Asian• Colee Hammock•4.5
- NUNUBIARNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 7, 2024My husband and I have the sushi and it is never a disappointment. It is delicious from the tuna truffle bites to the sushi rolls. We always find parking in the street or the public parking lot that is a block away(not the $10.00 parking lot).More infoHoshi & Sushi Thai CuisinePrice: Moderate• Sushi• Hollywood•4.7
